Centennial High School has named their first ever Head Baseball Coach which is Rusty Evans a now former assistant baseball coach at now three time defending state champ Piedra Vista's. We caught up with Evans for a quick Q and A session.

Q: What have you learned while Coaching at Piedra Vista?
A: Tough one, I have learned so much. The biggest thing would probably be that the Piedra Vista Motto "We Play For..." is the key to success. Getting everyone to work hard in the weight room, practice hard on the field and study hard in the classroom not for them as individuals but because their teammates, school, parents, and the community depend on them to do so.

Q: Biggest pro about the Centennial Job
A: The biggest pro about the Centennial job was starting a brand new program, at an amazing school with an administration that is supportive.

Q: What challenges await the new take over
A: I can only imagine the challenges that await me this next couple of years. From hiring a staff, to learning a new community. I look forward to all of the challenges that await.
