Each week the NMPreps.com Staff along with State Farm select the Metro State Farm Players of the week. Student Athletes are honored each week by a local Albuquerque Metro Area State Farm Rep with a Player of the Week Awards Plaque which honors the student athlete's accomplishment.

METRO STATE FARM PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Keenan Dodd - Hope Christian

The 2013 State Baseball Tournament Kicks off this week in Albuquerque and the #1 Ranked Hope Christian Huskies are the Class 3A favorite to win 3A Title. Led by our State Farm Metro Player of the Week Selection Keenan Dodd, the Huskies have just one senior on their loaded roster. Dodd, who is only a junior was 3-5 last week with 5RBI's in a win over Pojoaque. On the season, Dodd is leading the State of New Mexico with 10 home runs and has 50 RBI's.
