2012: Team Previews: Over the last two seasons under third year Head Football Coach Jeremy Newton the Tigers are 18-6 since moving down from Class 5A to Class 4A during the start of the 2010 season. Last year, The Tigers were an impressive 9-3 on the season and 4-1 against teams from District 6-4A, before falling to Artesia in the Bulldog Bowl during he 4A Quarterfinals.

Base Set: Offense: Pro | Defense: 4-3
Home Field: Tiger Stadium (3,500)

The Skinny: Returning are 14 starters from last year's group, likely the most talented team to come out of Los Lunas maybe ever and very comparable to some of the Belen Eagle teams that made a run at the title back from 2007 to 2010. By far the most talented team from Valencia County, Los Lunas has the pieces on both sides of the football to make a run at their first ever state football title.
