Los Lunas 20, Sandia 7| Highlights Here
The Sandia Matadors made the trip down I-25 to face off against the unbeaten Los Lunas Tigers in a battle of the unbeaten's, both teams were 3-0 entering the matchup. Los Lunas moves to (4-0) as they were able to use home field advantage and controlled the ball the majority of the game with their solid running attack. Offensively the Tigers were lead by Jalen Chavez who had 3 rushing touchdowns and ran for 140 yards on 24 carries. Also stepping up big was Darron Gallegos and Chris Wisneski. Defensively it was Preston Schollander and Greg Wortman bringing the pressure all night long and leading the way for a very salty Los Lunas defensive unit. Sandia managed to get a touchdown behind the Arm of Craig Coffman but they would fail to do anything else as they were marred by penalties and sacks all night long. Los Lunas looks to remain unbeaten in week 5 when they play St. Pius X. Sandia will play Rio Grande in week 5. Premium Game Highlights Here
Cleveland 27, Clovis 20
The Cleveland Storm earned a big victory Friday Night against Clovis moving to 2-2 on the year. New Mexico Lobo Commit and Cleveland Standout Romell Jordan proved why he is the top running back in New Mexico rushing for 181-yards, catching for 131-yards, and scoring three touchdowns on the night. Junior Quarterback Kian Homme threw for 303-yards and two touchdowns on the night. The Wildcats got on the board with an Erik Thomas kick-off return for a touchdown and a touchdown run from Clovis Running Back Kamal Cass. The Wildcats drop to 2-2 on the season and will host Rio rancho in week five. Cleveland now at .500 after starting the year 0-2 is open before a match up with Highland. Cleveland Back In the Mix?
Onate 55, Hobbs 42
The Onate Knights proved they have defense allowing Cleveland to just 19 points last week and on Friday Night they proved they have plenty of offense in a wild 55-42 shootout against the Hobbs Eagles to move the Knights to 2-2 on the season. The Knights out-gained Hobbs 599-428-yards of total offense. According to Clayton Jones of the Hobbs News Sun Hobbs Eagle Quarterback broke the school passing record with 441-yards and five touchdown passes. Hobbs Eagle receiver Steven Olivas caught for 160-yards and four touchdowns. Onate will take on Volcano Vista in week five and Hobbs will take on 3-0 Goddard who will likely be ranked as the number one overall team in New Mexico starting week five. Onate Now 2-2 On the year
Piedra Vista 48, Santa Fe 20
The Piedra Vista Panthers dominated the Santa Fe Demons Friday Night moving to 4-0 on the season and their best start ever under Head Coach Jared Howell. The offense was clicking on all cylinders again as the Panthers racked up 538-yards of offense according to the Santa Fe New Mexican and got big play production from Junior Quarterback Isaiah Valdez who threw for 221-yards and three touchdowns. The Panthers also were led by Stratton Waller who had his breakout game with over 100-yards rushing and Beay Clafton who ran for over 100-yards as well. Bryson Martinez returned a punt for a touchdown for Piedra Vista, a game breaking play that sealed the game. The Piedra Vista Panthers take on Moriarty in week five while Santa Fe takes on St. Michael's in their age old rivalry game against the Horsemen. Does Piedra Vista have the most dangerous offense in Class 4A?
Carlsbad 38, Alamogordo 13
The Carlsbad Cavemen moved to 3-1 on the season and a made it clear they are in the upper tier of Class 5A. Last weekend the Cavemen lost to Mayfield 27-7 playing without Quarterback Rodney Holcomb, but Friday Night the D-1 prospect was back in the line up and the offense was back in motion putting up a season high 38 points on the night. Carlsbad Running Back Dillon Caddell scored three times on the night and reeled off an impressive 88-yard touchdown run which was the play-off the game. The Cavemen will take on Artesia in the Eddy County War next weekend. Carlsbad now 3-1 on the year
Aztec 42, Miyamura 20
The Aztec Tigers won their first game of the season under new head coach Matt Steinfelft Friday Night. The Tigers who led Miyamura 35-6 at the half were led by Quarterback Adam Lucero who threw for 336-yards and four touchdown passes. Brad Hardin, one of the top unknown receivers in New Mexico caught for close to 200-yards and two touchdowns, Hardin also returned a kick for a touchdown. The Aztec running back finally got going as well as Ryneal Lewis Adams ran for 100-yards and a touchdown. The Tigers now at 1-2 take on Manzano. Santa Rosa 40, Hope Christian 0 | Highlights Here
The Santa Rosa Lions were on the road this week as they took on the hosting Hope Christian Huskies. The Huskies came into the matchup with a tough loss in week 3 to Taos, and were looking to get the taste of defeat out of their mouths with a win on Saturday. Unfortunately for them they faced off against the best team in 2A at this point in the Santa Rosa Lions. Santa Rosa came out the gates in the singlewing offense and completely dictated the flow of the game from start to finish. Offensively the Lions were lead by Timothy Valverdy and Marcus Lopez as they were able to run almost at will against a good defensive unit in Hope with a ton of help from the Santa Rosa offensive line unit.

Rio Rancho 42, Las Cruces 21 | Highlights Here
For the second year in a row the Rio Rancho Rams have defeated the Las Cruces Bulldawgs. 42-21 was the final as the Rams dominated the #1 Ranked Las Cruces Bulldawgs on each side of the football for a very convincing victory. Ulises Astora ran for over 200-yards and three touchdowns, Easton Bruere threw for over 200-yards, Tristen Foley caught for over 100-yards, Austin Patterson had two interceptions, Dallin Brady caught a touchdown, and Rio Rancho's offensive line whipped up on Las Cruces all night long. Rio Rancho is now 3-1 on the season and Las Cruces drops to 2-1. Rio Rancho will take on Clovis in week five and the Bulldawgs will head to Albuquerque to take on 4-0 La Cueva. Just how good is Rio Rancho, what does this mean?

Mayfield 20, Manzano 14
The Mayfield Trojans are 0-2 against Texas Teams and 2-0 against New Mexico Teams. Say what you want about the Mayfield Trojans, just make sure you keep them in the contender conversation every single year when you talk high school football. The Trojans defended the Field of Dreams Friday Night thanks to Dual Threat Quarterback Andrew Serna who ran for close to 100-yards including a game breaking 45-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Mayfield also got production from Marcus Inglemon who ran for 75-yards and a touchdown from 42-yards out. Manzano got of the board thanks to a one-yard touchdown run from Running Back Cory Morrow and a 39-yard touchdown catch from Skylar Walker. Mayfield now at 2-2 takes on 2-1 Eldorado next week in Las Cruces and Manzano now at 3-1 will host the Aztec Tigers in Albuquerque. Mayfield Now 2-0 Against New Mexico Teams

Goddard 27, Belen 7
The Goddard Rockets are now 3-0 after a three touchdown victory over the Belen Eagles Friday Night at the Wool Bowl. The Rockets had four first half turnovers thus the game was just 14-7 at the half, but the Rocket offense got going in the second half when Quarterback Anthoyn Ornelas found Josh Quiroz for at touchdown connection. The key play for the game was just before the half when Goddard's Cody French returned a Nick Kurtz interception for a touchdown. The Rockets will take on Hobbs in week five while Belen moves to 3-1 and will take on Los Alamos. Rockets Likely the #1 oveall in the State of New Mexico

La Cueva 38, Rio Grande 6
La Cueva would play the roll of visitor as they faced off against Rio Grande on Friday Night. La Cueva would win this game in decisive fashion leading 38-0 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Rio Grande drops to (1-2) on the season and will play Sandia in week 5. The Bears remain undefeated (4-0) behind the arm of Zach Silva who threw for 3 touchdowns and 166 yards passing. La Cueva will face off against Las Cruces in week 5 in what will be a huge game for both teams.?Question: Are the La Cueva Bears the new number one in New Mexico?

Artesia 49, Deming 14
The Artesia Bulldog offense keeps the Bulldog Train moving right along as the Bulldogs jumped to a wonderful 4-0 season start Friday Night. Starting Quarterback Trevor Eulenbach was back in action and threw a touchdown pass to Donovan Orosco early in the game to make it a quick 8-0 Bulldog lead. Gavino Saiz added two touchdown runs to make it 28-7 over Deming just before the half. Eulenbach would hook up with Zane Pittam for a 41-yard touchdown pass to make it 35-14 late in the game and two more Saiz touchdowns would make it a final. Saiz the MVP on the night scoring four touchdowns and rushing for over 100-yards. Artesia now 4-0 will take on 3-1 Carlsbad next weekend in the annual Eddy County War. Artesia's offense scoring over 40.0 per game, next up is Carlsbad

St. Pius X 41, Bernalillo 7?
The St. Pius Sartans would do battle against the Bernalillo Spartans on Friday Night in what would be a close game, until the 4th quarter where the Sartans were able to come out and dominate. The Bernalillo Spartans were only trailing 14-7 heading into the 4th quarter before allowing the St. Pius running game to completely take over, as the Sartans were able to run away with the victory with 500 rushing yards on 54 carries and scoring 27 points in the 4th quarter alone. Bernalillo drops to (0-4) on the season and will play at Gallup in week 5. St. Pius was lead on the night by Nick Stafford and T.J. Sanchez as St. Pius moves to (3-1) on the season and will host Los Lunas in week 5.?St. Pius X a top five team?

Highland 30, Cibola 18
The Highland Hornets would host the? Cibola Cougars in a matchup of winless programs and would face off on Friday Night in Albuquerque NM. The Hornets would pick up their first win on the season (1-3) behind the arm of Brian Medina who threw for 330 yards and 2 touchdowns on the night, as well as adding 80 yards rushing and one rushing touchdown. Cibola falls to (0-4) on the season and will play West Mesa in week 5, Highlands is idle in week 5 but will face off against Cleveland in week 6.?

Silver 22, Tularosa 0
The Silver Fighting Colts moved to 4-0 on the year after shutting out the previously unbeaten Tularosa Wildcats Friday Night in a game that Silver controlled throughout. The Colts were led by a 125 yard performance from Nevada Bencomo their senior running back and Derek Salas who scored two touchdowns on the night. The Colts are the #2 ranked team in Class 3A according to NMPreps.com and will take on Grants in week five.

Durango, Co 35, Farmington 28
The Durango Demons edged out Farmington Friday Night sending the Scorpions to their second loss in two weeks as they now sit at 2-2 after their fast 2-0 start. Farmington was led by Kyle Reynolds who returned a punt for a touchdown and caught a touchdown pass from from Jacob Lucas.

Pojoaque 27, Shiprock 14
The Pojoaque Valley Elks moved to 2-2 on the season and picked up an important win against Shiprock Friday Night. The Elks led 13-0 before the Chieftians put two-touchdowns on the board to take a one point led. The Elks would then score two unanswered touchdowns to make it a 27-14 final.

Portales 48, Raton 28
The Portales Rams won their first game of the year after forcing six Raton turnovers Friday Night. Ozzie Navarrete scored two touchdowns on the night to help the Rams win a much need class 3A match up. Daniel Sanchez who is a sophomore at Portales threw for close to 200-yards and two touchdown pass. Jaime Sotelo ran for over 100-yards on the night.

Texico 23, Eunice 0
The Texico Wolverines stayed undefeated Friday Night by blanking the Eunice Cardinals who have scored just six points in the last two games under first year Head Coach Caleb Aldrige. The Wolverines were led by Shay Harrison for the second week in a row who ran for 130-yards and two touchdowns. Texico moves to 3-0 on the season, Eunice drops to 2-2.

Tucumcari 7, Dexter 0
In a very tight 2A match up the Tucumcari Rattlers edged out Dexter now 1-3 by just a touchdown to move to 4-0 on the season. The key play for the game was when Zach Hurd broke an 18-yard touchdown run in the 4th quarter. The Demons where led by Kevin Bonner who received a fumble and had an interception on the night.

Hagerman 35, NMMI 14
The Hagerman Bobcats moved to 3-1 on the year outscoring the NMMI Colts by three scores Friday Night. Alehandro Ramos threw for 225-yards and three touchdowns and ran for close to 100-yards with two touchdowns. Hagerman will face Roswell JV in week five.

Ft. Sumner 50, Espanola Valley 14
The Ft. Sumner Foxes rolled past Espanola Valley to move to 3-1 on the year thanks to an impressive performance from Dallas McDaniel who scored four touchdowns on the night.
