The No. 1 team in New Mexico ran away with this Elite Eight game early, 73-64. The Eagles were led by Cullen Neal with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Zach Gentry pitched in 19 points, 12 rebounds. Preston Bungei the senior guard for Cibola had 21-points and 8 rebounds along with 3 assists. Game Highlights
No. 3 Los Lunas 60, No. 6 Capital 23
The No. 3 Los Lunas Tigers faced off against the No. 6 Capital Jaguars in what would turn out to be one of the more lopsided match ups in recent Elite 8 memory. The Jaguars looked to Senior Mikey Lopez for the majority of their points this season. Game Highlights Here
No. 6 Las Cruces Bulldawgs 64, No. 3 La Cueva 58
The No. 6 Las Cruces Bulldawgs upset the No. 3 La Cueva Bears in the Elite Eight of the State Tournament, 64-58. The Bulldawgs were led by twin towers Trevor Noel (17 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists) and Kai Williams (15 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists). The Bulldawgs move onto the Final Four against the No. 7 Hobbs Eagles. Game Highlights Here
No. 5 Albuquerque Academy Chargers 77, No. 4 Bernalillo Spartans 71
The No. 5 Albuquerque Academy Chargers upset the No. 4 Bernalillo Spartans, 77-71 moving to the Final Four against the No. 1 Roswell Coyotes. The Chargers were led by junior big man Chris Martin who finished with 27 points and 18 rebounds. Tommy Lindgren also chipped in 12 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists for the Chargers. No. 4 Clovis Wildcats 60, No. 12 Manzano Monarchs 57 (OT)
In a wild game and first overtime game of the Elite Eight the No. 4 Clovis Wildcats move onto another Final Four. The Wildcats knock out cinderella (12) Manzano Monarchs. The Wildcats were led by Willie McCray who poured in 16 points and 3 rebounds. DJ Blackmon also put in 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 rebounds. Game Highlights Here
No. 1 Roswell Coyotes 66, No. 9 Espanola Valley Sundevils 49
The number one team in 4A basketball moved to the Final Four after a, 66-49 win over the 9-seed Espanola Valley. The Roswell Coyotes were led by Anthony Olguin who had 21-points, 7 rebounds and 4 assist. Cesar Nava had 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The Espanola Valley Sundevils were led by sophomore Jared Garduno who finished with 15 points. Game Highlights
No. 7 Hobbs Eagles 66, No. 2 Sandia Matadors 65
The 2-seed Sandia Matadors fall in the Elite Eight to the 7-seed Hobbs Eagles, 66-65. The Eagles were led by Dane Pannell who had 22 points, 5 assist and 5 rebounds. Also, the star of the game was shooting guard Adrian Sanchez who hit the game winning three with one second left in the game. Sanchez finished with 12 points (all threes). Game Highlights
No. 2 St. Pius X Sartans 51, No. 7 Santa Teresa Desert Warriors 43
The No. 2 St. Pius X Sartans move onto the Final Four after beating the No. 7 Santa Teresa Desert Warriors, 51-43. The St. Pius X Sartans were led by senior guard Micah Sanchez who finished with 18 points, 4 assist and 2 rebounds. Brandon Altamirano chipped in 13 points for the Sartans. Game Highlights

4A Elite Eight - The PIT (Albuquerque, NM)
In the final Elite Eight game of the day the No. 2 Roswell Coyotes beat the No. 7 Gallup Bengals, 43-35. The Coyotes were led by Georgia Eldridge who finished the night with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Myla Brown chipped in 7 points and 6 rebounds for the Coyotes. Game Highlights
#2 Santa Fe Indian Braves 51, #7 Pojoaque Valley Elks 41
In a closer than expected contest the Braves of Santa Fe Indian took out the upset minded Pojoaque Valley, 51-41. The LAdy Braves were led by post player Danielle Nelson who finished the night with a big double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds along with 6 assist. Bridgett Lee, who also plays in the paint finished the night with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assist. Game Highlights
#3 Santa Fe Demons 45, #6 Valencia Jaguars 38
The No. 3 Santa Fe Demons continue their magical season as they beat No. 6 Valencia Jaguars, 45-38. The Demons were led by our Co-MVP's for the game - Sabrina Lozado-Cabbage (14 points, 9 rebounds), Kayla Herrera (16 points, 6 rebounds). Game Highlights Here
#6 Lovington Wildcats 33, #3 Portales Rams 26
The number 6 Lovington Wildcats move onto the Final Four after a big Elite Eight win over the 3-seed Portales Rams, 33-26. The Wildcats were led by Cori Haley who finished the day with 14 points and 5 rebounds.Also contributing for the Wildcats was Kylee Cunningham who had 4 points and 7 rebounds. Game Highlights Here
#1 Los Lunas Tigers 57, #9 Los Alamos Hilltoppers 44
The number one Los Lunas Tigers move onto the Final Four after a big Elite Eight win over the 9-seed Los Alamos Hilltoppers, 57-44. The Tigers were led by junior Teige Zeller who finished the day with 26 points and 17 rebounds. Sweet shooting guard Tinaya Murphy also poured in 18 points and 7 rebounds for the Tigers. #4 Shiprock Chieftains 52, #5 Taos Tigers 34
The Lady Chieftains powered their way to a 18-point win over the 5-seed Taos Tigers, 52-34. The Lady Chieftains were led by the former Kirtland Central (2011-2012) guard Taylor Henderson who finished with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist. Post player Courtney Steele had a big game in the paint with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Game Highlights Here
#4 St. Pius X Sartans 71, #5 Espanola Valley Sundevils 58
The first 4A Elite Eight game of the day had the #4 St. Pius X Sartans coming out with a 13-point win. The Sartans used a huge 29-point fourth quarter to secure the win after being neck and neck throughout the game. Exploding for 28 points was Natalie Zamora for the St. Pius X Sartans. #1 Hope Christian Huskies 66, #9 Socorro Warriors 29
In the first game of the morning the No. 1 Hope Huskies beat the 9-seed Socorro Warriors, 66-29. It was the first of four 3A Elite Eight games of the day. The story for the Huskies was the inside feature of Leala Longmire who was unstoppable in the paint on her way to 12 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists. Game Highlights Here
