Artesia Bulldogs
Quarterback Trevor Eulenbach threw for over 2,500-yards last year as a junior, but his family is moving to Lubbock so the biggest story line for the Bulldogs heading into the 2013 season is: Who will rise up as the next Bulldog Quarterback? Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Aztec Tigers

Belen Eagles
Since 2007, Head Belen Eagle Coach John Lerma is 25-8 and while no one talked about Belen last year, all the Eagles did was going 9-3 on the season losing to Goddard in the semifinals. They return a ton of young talent, but will that be enough to reclaim the thrown as tops in Valencia County. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Bernalillo Spartans
Don't overlook Bernalillo because of their 2-8 2012 season. This group returns most of their 2012 starters and while he does not get a lot of credit Head Coach Ken Noel won back to back district titles just a few years back. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Capitan Tigers
New Coach will be? That's TBA after Colin Justiss who led the Tigers to the 1A title game left to take over Clayton's Head Coach. The Tigers return some very good prospects which should definitely keep them in the 1A hunt in 2013. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Carlsbad Cavemen
The Cavemen were just 5-5 last year and it a surprise to everyone, they missed the 2012 play-offs. Good news for Carlsbad is that they have a loaded younger group coming up and Quarterback Rodney Holcomb is now a senior. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Centennial Hawks
Entering their 2nd year of varsity football they Hawks literally lost zero seniors, which means they return 22 starters from the 2012 season. Could this be our first glimpse at major football success for the Hawks. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Cibola Cougars
The Cougars were 1-9 last season, but new life awaits as Head Coach Rod Williams takes over for long time Metro Area Coach Judge Chavez. Playing in one of the state's toughest districts means every game matters if they want to no only rebuild, but have a shot to make the play-offs. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Cleveland Storm
It will be the 2nd year as Head Coach of the Cleveland Storm Football Program for Heath Ridenour and while a late season play-off loss to Eldorado likely lingers, this Class of 2014 is ready to take Cleveland back to the top. Deming went 8-3 last year before losing to Belen in the play-offs 40-7. They return a ton of talent on the offensive side of the football headlines with running backs Ismail Garrett and Jerome Sandoval. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Eldorado Eagles
Still one of the top teams from the Albuquerque Metro Area despite a lack luster 6-6 2012 season. They were old, they were young, they were still good under Head Coach Charlie Dotson. They return 6-foot-7, 210 pound Quarterback Zach Gentry who will just be a junior. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Escalante Lobos
The 1A defending state champ returns Reynaldo Atencio who accounted for more than 3,000 all purpose yards and scored more than 50 total touchdowns during his junior season. Head Coach Dusty Giles has to like his chances to repeat in 2013. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Eunice Cardinals
Year one under Head Coach Caleb Aldrige was a 4-6 outcome, but the 2013 season looks bright with some very good offensive and defensive talent returning. Watch for Iyvan Tercero and Alex Zamora. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Farmington Scorpions
The Wildcats already play in the NMPreps.com Week One Game of the Week hosting Cherry Creek, Colorado at Leon Williams Stadium. The expectations are extremely high with Eric Roanhaus at the helm the state's top running back returning in Kamal Cass. Beast from the East getting ready to make a real run... This year, Chase Carson returns at quarterback with Miguel Gonzales also returning up front. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Highland Hornets
It seems as though he will never graduate as Bryan Medina at 6-foot-0, 215 pounds returns at quarterback for the third consecutive year for the Hornets. Highland does lose some speed in the backfield, but don't expect that from keeping this group from playing spoiler in district 5-5A. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Hobbs Eagles
Year two of the Charles Gleghorn Ear begins now and after a 2-8 2012 season, the Eagles are hoping for a step forward with this upcoming youthful group. Kolin Zemas along with Brandon Amaya return. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here

Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Las Cruces Bulldawgs
Can the Dawgs really make another run at the 5A state title losing more than 16 starters from the 2012 State Title Team? We are about to find out, but we do know that the Dawgs return some big time starters: Sam Denmark, JJ Granados, Jesse Olson, Isaiah McIntyre, Austin Salas, and Kameron Miller lead the way in 2013. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Los Alamos Hilltoppers
The Toppers are going to be in the mix for the District 2-4A Title, but it's tough to gage which linemen will spearhead their always potent rushing attack. Brice Van Etten headlines the team at quarterback. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Los Lunas Tigers
The Tigers went 12-1 last season coming up just three points short in the 4A State Title Game losing to Goddard 17-14. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Lovington Wildcats
You know the story, Coach Jamie Quinones is going to lead this group no matter the talent level deep into the play-offs. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Manzano Monarchs
The team no one talks about in the Metro Area is going to have one of the more dangerous tandems in the backfield and will always put together one of the State's biggest offensive lines. 2nd Year Head Coach Chad Adcox will have this unit ready to carry that flag high come the start of the 2013 season. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Mayfield Trojans
The Mayfield Trojans continue to remain a staple in the Class 5A Elite and this year is likely no difference. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
McCurdy Bobcats
McCurdy lost 41-34 to rival Esclanate to miss out on a trip to the 2012 1A state title. Returning is Daniel Arroyo and Chris Serrano. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Moriarty Pintos
District 5-4A is going to be no cake walk this season and Moriarty is going to be right in the mix of things competing for the district title. Kade Bond and Justin Manning return at the running back position. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Valencia Jaguars
A bit of a down season last year for the Jaguars, but it was expected with a New Head Coach and a youthful group. This year, Head Coach Kevin Jolley returns some great speed at the skill positions and will likely have the Jaguars back in the 4A hunt. Complete Spring Preview Linked Here
Volcano Vista Hawks
One program that is rising each year is Volcano Vista. It's taken a bit of time for their program to going at the 5A level, but Coach Chad Wallin really had a breakthrough season in 2012 reaching the 5A Semifinals.
