#9 Hope Christian 4-6 @ #9 Taos 7-3
The Hope Christian Huskies won 11 games during the 2011 season and have won just four in 2012 making for a puzzling season for a team that was supposed to be a title contender in the pre-season due to their returning talent into this season. Their offense has managed to produce just 16.7 points per game. They have losses against Taos, Silver, Santa Rosa, Bloomfield, Portales, and St. Michael's, all which are play-off teams. This season Hope has been led by Eric Anderson with 83 tackles, Jon Milar with 81 tackles, and Blake Howington who has 80 tackles, and Sam White who has an incredible 16 quarterback sacks this year which is leading the State of New Mexico. Taos beat Hope straight up 19-14 and has been led by Running Back Isaac Gonzales all season long as he approaches 1,000-yards this year. Also watch for Nick Lemley as one of their impact players. On the season Taos has scored 23.7 points per game and has won their last three out of four games this year.

#11 Portales 2-7 @ #6 Robertson 6-4
The Portales Rams have lost three in a row and have been outscored in those three games a combined 72-0. They did play Robertson close earlier in the year losing 13-7 in overtime. The Rams are scoring just 12.1 points per game this season and giving up 31.7 on defense. The Robertson Cardinals, a team eager to make their mark in the play-offs have win their last five out of six games including taking Ruidoso to the wire in a 26-21 loss that raised a few eyebrows. The Cardinals are scoring 15.7 points per game and giving up 28.0 points per game on defense. This is a young team and it's hard for even us to name key impact players, but we know one thing: Cardinal Stadium will be rocking Friday Night with Big Red expecting a play-off win.

#12 Pojoaque 5-5 @ #5 Lovington 3-6
The Pojoaque Elks at 5-5 reached the play-offs even though they lost their last three out of four games of the season. Their marquee season win came against beating Shiprock 27-14 back in week four. This year, the Elks are led by Quarterback John Ainsworth, a good size quarterback that is over 200 pounds. The Elks are scoring 25.0 points per game. The Three Time Defending 3A State Champ, the Lovington Wildcats are coming off a 23-0 loss to Ruidoso. In their last two losses, the Wildcats have been outscored 51-0, against teams that are a combined 18-1 (Goddard/Ruidoso). The Wildcats are led by Quarterback David Robles, Running Back Justin Bromley, Defensive Linemen Austin Vancleve, and Linebacker Bo Jackson. This team still has enough potency to make some noise and few do it better than Lovington in the play-offs.

#10 Academy 3-6 @ #7 Socorro 6-4
The Academy Chargers have had a dismal season losing six games and losing their four out of five games to end the year. Last week they lost to Socorro 17-8 and will have a shot at redemption this season. Cody Crosby and Stone Watson have been the Charger's Impact Players this year and while they are both underclassmen, they each have the ability to make the big play. Socorro is a sleeper in this 3A mix winning their last three out of five games. They don't have the size or speed that they have had in the past, but Head Coach Damian Ocampo is a master of having his team achieve a higher level than their overall talent come the play-offs. Zeb Esquivel and Zach Binger are their top players. Socorro is scoring 27.8 points per game and allowing 20.8 on defense.
