COACHES: Rio Rancho: David Howes | Volcano Vista: Chad Wallin
THE STORYLINE: The last time these two met was back in week nine and Rio Rancho had to score a touchdown with 10.0 seconds left to win a thriller in Albuquerque. The Hawks beat Valley last weekend 28-27 to reach the quarterfinals for the first time in school history. Rio Rancho is a perfect 8-0 against 5A teams this year and their offense has produced 42.1 points per game on the season. If their big air attack is not contained and the student body packs the house, Rio Rancho should handle the Hawks easily.
KEY STATS: Rio Rancho Quarterback Easton Bruere has thrown for 3,036-yards and has a 29/10 touchdown to interception ration. Tristen Foley has caught for 926-yards and 11 touchdowns and Austin Patterson has caught for 763-yards and 10 touchdowns. Volcano Vista has played their last five teams 39-34, 37-34, 56-41, 38-30, 28-27.

#4 SANDIA MATADORS (7-3) VS. #5 MAYFIELD TROJANS (7-4)

COACHES: Sandia: Kevin Barker | Mayfield: Michael Bradley
THE STORYLINE: These two teams last met in the play-offs back in 2006 when Mayfield stopped Sandia on the goal line to win a memorable game at the Field of Dreams. The Trojans would go on to win the State Title the next weekend against Alamogordo. Sandia has played a gauntlet of schedule at the end of the year beating Manzano, Eldorado and losing to Clovis and La Cueva. Mayfield is coming off a loss to Las Cruces and a thrilling 35-28 win over Manzano last weekend.
KEY STATS: Sandia Quarterback Craig Coffman has thrown for 1,488-yards and 15 touchdowns, Receiver Brenden Barker has caught for 753-yards and eight touchdowns. Mayfield Running Back Marcus Inglemon has amassed over 1,250 all purpose yards and has six interceptions on defense.

#3 LA CUEVA BEARS (9-1) VS. #11 ELDORADO EAGLES (5-5)
VS.
WHEN: Friday, Nov. 23rd, 2012 , 2PM
WHERE: Wilson, Stadium
RADIO: 101.7 FM The Team
THE FAVORITE: La Cueva by 13.5
RECORDS VS. PLAY-OFF TEAMS: La Cueva 5-1 | Eldorado 4-5
LA CUEVA IMPACT PLAYERS: Zach Silva QB, Michael Rose RB, Jarick Sharp WR, Chris Thompson WR, JT Boone OL, Calvin Allen DL, Erick Strobert DL, Chris Loidolt LB, Christian San Roman LB, Mitchell Cantwell, Clint Silver DB
ELDORADO IMPACT PLAYERS: Zach Gentry QB, Jonah Mestas WR/DB, Dez Ravenel TE/DE, Austin French OL/DL, Matt Clark DL, Patrick Garcia LB,
COACHES: La Cueva: Ed Lucero| Eldorado: Charlie Dotson
THE STORYLINE: The last time they met La Cueva dominated, but Eldorado kept it close losing 35-27. To put it straight, La Cueva is the much better football time during this second match up. Eldorado is very bang up and while they showed a lot of heart to beat Cleveland last week they are going to need a flawless game plan to beat La Cueva. The Bears have won five in a row and are one of the hottest teams in New Mexico. Rivalry factor could make it a bit closer, but La Cueva is much more talented.
KEY STATS: La Cueva's Zach Silva has thrown for 1,900-yards and 22 touchdowns. Running Back Michael Rose has ran for just over 1,000-yards, and Chris Thompson at receiver has caught for 973-yards and 10 touchdowns. Eldorado is led by Zach Gentry who has thrown for just over 1,300-yards and 13 touchdowns.
#2 LAS CRUCES BULLDAWGS (8-1) VS. #7 CLOVIS WILDCATS (6-5)
VS.
WHEN: Friday, Nov. 23rd, 2012 , 7PM
WHERE: Field of Dreams
RADIO: 570AM
THE FAVORITE: Las Cruces by 7.0
RECORDS VS. PLAY-OFF TEAMS: Las Cruces 3-1 | Clovis 2-5
LAS CRUCES IMPACT PLAYERS: Jon Joy QB, J.J. Grandados RB, Mikey Calzada WR, Michael Holguin WR, Rudy Guerra OL, Lane Cummings OL, Taylor Tisby DL, Jacob Benegas DL, Sam Denmark LB, Jalen Bishop ATH
CLOVIS IMPACT PLAYERS: Dakota Yandell QB, Kamal Cass RB, Marshall Winn TE/DL, Dijon Ford TE/DL, Hunter Hodges LB, Peyton Lott DB
COACHES: Las Cruces: Jim Miller| Clovis: Eric Roanhaus
THE STORYLINE: Two of the top programs in New Mexico meet at the Field of Dreams for what looks to be pound for pound the best game on paper. These two teams met in week zero and it was all Las Cruces. The season has changed and Clovis looks like they could win the whole thing on the legs of NMPreps.com Mr. Football Candidate Kamal Cass. Clovis has won three in a row. Las Cruces is coming off a 36-13 win over Mayfield and what's contributed to their success is the big boys up front. If Las Cruces controls the line of scrimmage and limits big plays they win.
KEY STATS: Las Cruces Quarterback Jon Joy has thrown for 1,990-yards and 20 touchdowns, Running Back J.J. Grandados has ran for 800-yards and 22 touchdowns. For Clovis, Kamal Cass has ran for over 2,400-yards and 35 touchdowns.
