TOP-25 MUST SEE GAME

No. 1 Eldorado (5-0) vs. Albuquerque High (4-0)
Where:Albuquerque High, Albuquerque, NM
When:Friday, 7:00 PM
Dogs-Eagles Preview: Major showdown in the Duke City on Friday night at Bulldog City. The Number one team in New Mexico the Eldorado Eagles take on the Albuquerque High Bulldogs who are the number three team in the state. Both teams are currently undefeated.

Also, bringing to the table are two players in the running for the 2013 Mr. Basketball award in Mahlik Sims (Abq. High) and Cullen Neal (Eldorado). This game will be a high scoring affair as both teams like to get up and down the court in a hurry and bring tons of athleticism.

SEEDING IMPLICATIONS

No. 12 Cibola (4-3) vs. No. 15 Atrisco Heritage (4-2)
Where: Cibola High School, Abq., NM
When:Friday, 7:00 PM
Preview: A battle of two teams that are vying for all the resume booster wins. Cibola has a pair of good wins and Atrisco is still looking for the big win in their first season in 5A basketball.

David verse Goliath in this game as the Cibola Cougars bring tons of height to the table while the Jaguars will rely on their speedy little guards. Ross Buchman the big post for the Cougars should have the ball his way all night as the Jaguars will find it hard to defend the talented big. The issue for the Cougars will be defending the Jaguars trio in the backcourt.

Resume Builder Game

No. 18 Alamogordo (5-2) vs. Deming (6-2)
Where: Deming High School
When: Friday, 7:00 PM
Preview: Both No. 18 Alamogordo and Deming need this game to polish their basketball resume for March. The Tigers of Alamogordo already suffered a loss to a Mid Major (4A) team last week in Santa Teresa (No. 16 NMPreps.com Top 25) and can't afford another this week.

Both teams bring talented backcourts to the table and it could become a game of guards. Alamogordo has transfer Tyler Day that has becoming a scoring threat from the start while Deming has a couple of guards to keep an eye out for in Eric and Dominic Saenz who can score but should watch out for a talented Phyllip Longoria who is a well rounded player from the wing or inside.

Ben Lujan Tournament

Semi-Finals - Winner's Bracket
No. 19 Taos Tigers vs. Laguna-Acoma Hawks:
A great battle in this game as the No. 19 team in New Mexico will take on one of the states' top Small School Division teams in the Laguna-Acoma Hawks (No. 1 NMPreps.com Small School Division Top 25).

Pojoaque Valley Elks vs. Socorro Warriors: A good battle for 3A hoops as two teams that need every win possible. The Warriors currently sitting near the bottom of Big School Division hoops could use an upset win. The Elks of Pojoaque Valley have slid a bit in the classification rankings could also use the win.

Other Action To Watch For

Bubble Buster: Rio Grande (2-5) vs. Manzano (0-4), this game could be costly for both teams as they need every win possible at this point. The Ravens could find this loss devastating.

Ranked vs. Unranked: No. 7 Valley (3-1) vs. Cleveland (3-3), The Vikings are a top team in the state and have everything you could want in a team. The Storm of Cleveland a bubble team could benefit greatly from an upset here for their resume.

4A Battle: Moriarty (6-3) vs. Grants (4-2), The Pirates and Pintos square off in what could be a highlight game this young season in 4A hoops. The Pintos are looking to get back in the Top 25 while the Pirates are looking for that game to earn respect.
