Grine: Outside Looking In

The section where I bring up questions on the night and see big headlines that need answer this season.

1. District 5-5A that bad?: Right now D5-5A is 5-27 with three teams who have yet to win a basketball game. No. 23 Valley seems to be the only hope in the District and they fell on Saturday night too.

2. Large Win Margins?: Saturday night most teams scored a lot and their opponents didn't. In one game, Marissa Perry of Hope scored 14 points her opponent, the whole team, scored 14 points.

3. Wrong You Were Grine: Unranked and ranked in the high twenties this preseason, No. 5 Eldorado and No. 6 Las Cruces have found themselves still without a loss and quickly to the top of the rankings.

Kassandra Harris, Cibola: 24 points
Marissa Perry, Hope: 14 points
