Basketball: Tuesday Night Recap & Scores

Today we recap the Tuesday Night Basketball Games from around the State of New Mexico.

Las Cruces 61, Faith Christian 58
Depending on which websites you looked at, many of them had Faith Christian, Texas ranked nationally, so Tuesday Night's three point win by Las Cruces is very impressive, in fact Faith Christian was 18-0 entering the game. The Bulldawgs were led by Trevor Noel and Kai Williams who etched scored 13 points.

Clovis 78, Goddard 48
The Clovis Wildcats blasted by Goddard Tuesday Night to move to 9-4 on the season. The Wildcats were led by Willie McCray who had 17 points, DJ Blackmon who scored 16, and John Dawson who scored 12. Goddard was led by David Sweet who scored a team high 17 points.

Carlsbad 69, Alamogordo 62
The Carlsbad Cavemen earned a big win Tuesday Night over Alamogordo thanks to a wonderful performance from Marcus Arrington, a senior at Carlsbad who had 17 points. For Alamogordo it was Josey Mills who led their effort with 22 points.

Eldorado 71, Santa Fe 36
The Eldorado Eagles have now won two straight after beating the Santa Fe Demons by a large margin Tuesday Night in a non-district match up. Zach Lee scored 18 points and Sophomore Zach Gentry had an impressive performance as well dropping 15.

Manzano 52, Volcano Vista 50
The Manzano Monarchs won a thriller Tuesday Night against Volcano Vsita thanks to 20 points from Jarrell Harper.

Espanola 52, Santa Fe Indian 45
The Espanola Sundevils finally were able to defeat the Lady Braves in a battle tested four quarters Tuesday Night in Espanola, New Mexico. The Lady Sundevils who had dropped the previously two games to the Lady Braves were led by by Lauren Quintana who scored a team high 19 points. For Santa Fe Indian, they were led by Danielle Nelson who scored 20 points.

Alamogordo 42, Carlsbad 26
Alamogordo defeated Carlsbad 42-26 Tuesday Night in a statement win. On the night, Alamogordo's defense was nearly perfect holding Carlsbad to under 30 points. The Tigers now 11-5 were led by Stephanie Anderson who had 18 points.

Rio Rancho 43, Academy 35
The Rio Rancho Rams beat the Academy Chargers Tuesday Night thanks to 21 points from Ally Salata.

Tularosa 71, Dexter 34
The Tularosa Wildcats rolled to a double digit win over Dexter. On the night it was Kynanne Kowatch who scored 24 for the Wildcats.
