Grine: Friday Lessons

1. Number one to stay: La Cueva and the Bears will get tons of love in today's recap. Led by Bryce Alford who had 40 points solidified themselves as the best team in the Land of Enchantment.

2. Rio Grande the real deal?: The Rio Grande Ravens move to 2-0 beating Atrisco Heritage on Friday night. Head coach Sean Jimenez putting himself in the talk of coach of the year. The Ravens could be one of the top teams in 2013.

3. Hobbs in a different tier: The Eagles for some reason lack getting the respect that they deserve. They put 102-points on Rio Rancho a team once in the Top-10 - someone please tell me they think this team is legit now.

Prime Time Players: Bryce Alford

If you had question marks about Alford and the La Cueva Bears well ask no further - he is legit and the Bears are number one. Alford will go down as the finest players to ever wear a jersey in New Mexico.

Starting Five
Bryce Alford, La Cueva: 40 points in win.
Adonis Saltes, Valley: 19 points
Dane Pannell, Hobbs: 28 points
Adrian Sanchez, Hobbs: 21 points
