Rivals Camp Series: New Mexico Invites

The Rivals Camp Series Presented by Under Armour is a new series of invitation-only regional camps for selected participants who are considered among the best in the country at their respective positions.

Rivals.com has long been the dominant source of recruiting information and coverage, so it's only logical that Rivals would team with market-leader Under Armour to provide the best camp experience for high school football players.

The Rivals Camp Series is free. But only the best of the best will receive invitations to participate.

Ask any fan or media member familiar with college football recruiting coverage and the first name that will come to mind is Rivals.com. Not to be forgotten, however, is Rivals.com was the first digital company to put such a heavy emphasis and value on recruiting. The rest, as they say, is history.

Rivals.com revolutionized recruiting coverage. It was first to provide such innovative features as national player rankings, online video highlights, player profiles and searchable player database, official visit lists, coach "recruited by" function, text alerts to cell phones and much, much more.

Our team of experts and reporters is considered the best in the industry, whether it is reporting the news or ranking the players. Former No. 1 Rivals.com players include Vince Young, Adrian Peterson and Jadeveon Clowney.

Now Rivals.com, with partner Under Armour, is set to revolutionize the high school football camp industry.

New Mexico Attendees Headed To Phoenix Rivals Camp
Mitchell Cantwell - Linebacker
Albuquerque (N.M.) La Cueva
Hendo's Notes: Had a huge sophomore season for the La Cueva Bears, played more like a next level senior to be honest. Has a great frame and is going to generate some D-1 interest over the next few years.
Sam Denmark - Linebacker
Las Cruces (N.M.)
Hendo's Notes: 1st Team All-State Linebacker for the 2012 State Champion Las Cruces Bulldawgs as only a junior. At 6-foot-0 and 220 pounds Denmark has remarkable laterally side to side movement which allows him to chase down changing direction running backs. Also plays tight end.
Cody French - Running Back
Roswell (N.M.) Goddard
Ran for over 1,000-yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior helping the Goddard Rockets win the 2012 4A State Championship going 13-0. French's overall speed will improve as he entered his senior season, but what we like most is his deceptive power hitting the hole. One arm tackles or anyone coming at him too high is going to bounce right off.
Easton Bruere - Quarterback
Rio Rancho (N.M.)
Threw for over 2,500-yards as just a sophomore this past season. Has great feet in the pocket and understands coverages that most high school quarterbacks in New Mexico have not yet seen. Father is the offensive coordinator of the Rio Rancho Rams, so he's been groomed to air it out. At 6-foot-3 and close to 200 pounds Bruere is big time.
Tristin Foley - Receiver
Rio Rancho (N.M.)
Foley is one of the fastest overall prospects in the State of New Mexico and combine that with exceptional route running along with A+ hands you have a sleeper next level prospect. He is a tough match up in the slot position and also plays defensive back for Rio Rancho. 2012 Junior Highlights Here
Sterling Napier - Tight End
Rio Rancho (N.M.) Cleveland
Cleveland's Class of 2014 is very good. Sterling Napier at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds is a next level prospect we have liked since the 2011 season. He was a All-Metro Selection as a junior and is expected to have a huge senior season for The Storm on both sides of the football.
Travis Parnell - Defensive End
Rio Rancho (N.M.)
Defensive End Travis Parnell is New Mexico's first Class of 2014 Prospect to reel in a Division One Offer and it came from New Mexico State on Monday, February 25th, 2013. With the offer, Parnell was invited to the Rivals Camp Series. Parnell also verbally committed to the Aggies earlier in the week.
Desmond Branch - Defensive End
Rio Rancho (N.M.) Cleveland
Branch was one of two New Mexico Prospects offered by the Aggies on Monday, February 25th. Branch is a 6-foot-3, 245 pound Defensive End and one of NMPreps.com's Top 10 Prospects for the upcoming 2013 Prep Football Season. Cleveland High School has produced some big time football talent, having Cole Gautsche sign with the New Mexico Lobos from the Class of 2012, Romell Jordan sign with the New Mexico Lobos from the Class of 2013

Other New Mexico Prospects Invited That Will Not Be Able To Make The Event Because They Will Be Playing In The State Basketball Tournament Include: Zach Gentry of Eldorado, Cameron Bean of Sandia, Connor Anderson of Volcano Vista, and Kamal Cass of Clovis.
