Hermanns close to making a decision

Rio Rancho’s Grant Hermanns is one of the top recruited linemen in the West and just returned home from an official visit from Hawaii. Nick Rolovich, Hawaii’s Head Football Coach also conducted an in-home visit with Hermanns on Thursday, January 21st.

We’re informed that Hermanns really liked the school, staff, and of course the environment. The Rio Rancho Senior also had an unofficial visit to TCU, Baylor, and even stopped by Texas recently. He was offered a preferred walk-on at TCU and at Baylor.

Visiting Purdue on Friday, January 22nd

Purdue called on January 21st and offered him a scholarship and asked if he would like to take an official visit. Hermanns and his father are headed out to Indiana today January 22nd.

New Mexico Lobos Still In The Mix

New Mexico is still in the mix and we’ve been informed that Head Lobo Coach Bob Davie has asked Hermanns if he could stop by for an official home visit. We hear Hermanns should have a decision by next week.

Hermanns has offers from Nevada, New Mexico, Washington State, Air Force, Hawaii, New Mexico State, Iowa State, Kansas, Northern Arizona, San Diego State, and Texas Tech.
