Class of 2018 Recruiting News and Updates

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. –- Many Albuquerque area high school football teams are hoping youth will be served in 2017, including several competing at the Metro Passing League on Thursday night.

Start with defending Class 5A state champions St. Pius X, which won a pair of thrilling high-scoring contests over Del Norte (35-31) and Valley (35-34) Thursday at Highland High School.

First-year Sartans head coach Dave Montoya faces the demanding yet unavoidable task of finding a successor to prolific quarterback Drew Ortiz, currently a walk-on at UTEP.
