Baker's Dozen: Will Hawks ride the Storm out in key Week 4 battle?

Week 4 of the New Mexico High School Football season is nearly upon us and the slate contains some intriguing matchups, including three Albuquerque area schools heading to Las Cruces for a football-filled weekend at the Field of Dreams. Here is the Baker’s Dozen, our top 13 games of the week.

GAME OF THE WEEK: Centennial at Cleveland (Friday, 7 p.m.)

Paraphrasing Mark Twain, social media speculation surrounding the demise of the Cleveland Storm football team was greatly exaggerated.

Eight days after losing convincingly to La Cueva, 30-7, the Storm traveled to Las Cruces to face the powerful Bulldawgs in a game few thought they had a chance to win. But thanks to a brilliant play call and perfect execution on a third down call, Cleveland pulled out the 28-21 win by scoring a last-minute touchdown.
