Today, is the final day for many of the 2016 holiday tournaments. Several championship games taking place across the state of New Mexico.

Hobbs Holiday Tournament
Title Game: No. 6 Las Cruces (11-1) vs Sandia (4-3).
One of the biggest surprises of the weekend is the Bobby Tapia led Sandia Matadors. Tapia, led the unranked Matadors with an 18 point upset over host Hobbs. Las Cruces continues to be the hottest team in the entire state as they moved smooth over Lawton, Oklahoma (62-47). The duo in Markus Collins (13 points) and RJ Collins (11 points) led the way.
Rio Rancho Tournament
Title Game: No. 7 Onate (10-2) vs No. 17 Rio Rancho (7-4)
Josh Harrison poured in 26 points as the Knights earned a key resume win and second top 10 win of the week, this time beating Eldorado 68-60. Rio Rancho continues to ride the shoulders of Juan Hurt as they earned a quality win over Espanola.
Poe Corn - Roswell
Title Game: No. 16 Artesia (7-2) vs No. 20 Roswell (9-3)
Two of the best teams in southern New Mexico and District 4-5A members will square off before district play starts. Artesia with a win over Goddard and Roswell earned revenge on Belen to move into the title game.
Stu Clark - Las Vegas
Title Game: No. 21 Atrisco Heritage Academy (5-3) vs No. 24 West Las Vegas (7-2)
The Jaguars of Atrisco continue to move along easily in the semi-final game. West Las Vegas with a resume win over St Pius will make for a top 25 match up in the title game.
Los Lunas Holiday
Title Game: No. 5 Los Lunas (9-1) vs Volcano Vista
Martin Trujillo had a big night scoring 20 points of the Los Lunas 49 in the win over Alamogordo in the semi-final. This Volcano Vista team is surging as of late and David Cormier led the Hawks with 16 points in their win over Valencia.
