Another D-1 Commitment. On Monday, January 23rd, Volcano Vista Hawk Receiver David Cormier announced via social media that he would be committing to the Air Force Academy to continue his education and football.

"I would like to thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to further my education and continue to play football. Also, I'd like to thank my family, friends, and coaches for helping me turn my dreams into a reality. I thank the colleges that believed that I could play for their program as well. I have decided to serve my country and continue my academy and football career at The United States Air Force Academy."

Cormier was named to the NMPreps.com 6A All-State Team and caught for 59 receptions for 878-yards and 12 touchdowns this season. Cormier committed to Air Force over UNLV, Amry, New Mexico State, and New Mexico.
