Seatle, Washington - Volcano Vista Receiver David Cormier out of the class of 2017 had a fantastic showing at this weekend's Nike Opening event in Seattle. Cormier who already holds an offer from New Mexico ran a 40 time of 4.5 and checked in at 6-foot-3, 206 pounds.

"David is the ultimate driven three sport athlete that isn't influenced by coaches that want him to focus on one. Great student athlete that is willing to work for his dreams," said Head Volcano Vista Coach Chad Wallin.

So far only New Mexico has offered and San Diego State has shown interest. We have a feeling that's about to change...
