On Wednesday, December 21st, 2016 Clovis Head Football Coach Eric Roanhaus resigned after 39 seasons of Coaching the Wildcats. Roanhaus leaves Clovis winning 343 games and 10 State Championships. In 2016 we've seen three New Mexico High School Football Hall of Fame Coaches either resign or retire. In March of 2016 Artesia's Cooper Henderson resigned after 27 seasons of coaching the Bulldogs and a few weeks later Las Cruces Bulldawg Coach Jim Miller retired after 18 seasons. If you count up the wins between the three coaches it totals 803 victories with 30 state title rings. Today we look back on the career of the three New Mexico High School Football Legends.
