Trujillo's return, early red zone stops fuel Cleveland over Centennial

RIO RANCHO, N.M. – Quarterback Angelo Trujillo was back on the field, and so was Cleveland’s efficient and productive passing attack.

But it was the Storm’s opportunistic and aggressive defense that fueled Friday night’s convincing 42-12 victory over Centennial at Lightning Bolt Stadium, stopping the Hawks three times in the red zone and scoring on a 80-yard fumble return in the first half alone.

Trujillo, held out of last Saturday’s road win at Las Cruces due to a concussion, threw four touchdown passes to three different receivers as the Storm built a 28-0 halftime cushion and cruised home to their second straight impressive victory since the Week 2 loss to La Cueva.
