Today, we start to announce the winners of the New Mexico high school football awards. The awards are voted on by fans, media members and NMPreps staff.

2017 NEW MEXICO'S OFFENSIVE LINEMAN OF THE YEAR - CANNIN PRIETO, HOBBS HIGH SCHOOL

NMPreps.com is happy to announce the 2017 New Mexico Offensive Lineman of the Year to Cannin Prieto of Hobbs High School. The Eagles went 9-3 on the season and reached the 6A Quarterfinals.

Prieto has been regarded as one of the best OL's in the state and recently signed with Eastern New Mexico University after earning several offers. Prieto was part of the OL that helped guide the Eagles offense to 5,347-passing yards.
