Tate Branch Pitcher of the Week: Cameron Stevenson, Goddard
Stevenson pitched 7-innings for the Rockets in a win over Roswell Coyotes in 4-5A play. Stevenson allowed 0-runs, 2-hits and an impressive 9-K's in the win. The Rockets moved up and are ranked #2 in the NMPreps.com Week 9 Rankings.
Tate Branch Hitter of the Week: Steven Barboa, Atrisco Heritage Academy
Steven Barboa had 2 home runs in week 8 against the Albuquerque High Bulldogs. The Jaguars win the District 4-6A game, 8-4 and improved to 14-6 after the week. The junior for the Jaguars is looking to guide the unranked Jaguars to a 4-6A title.
