The following is the NMPreps.com New Mexico High School basketball week 8 team rankings. The rankings are for the week of January 1st - 6th.

6A BASKETBALL
The Las Cruces Bulldawgs went 3-0 last week winning the Los Lunas Holiday Classic held at Valencia High School. The Bulldawgs improved their record to 14-0.
The Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (7-1) were open last week and will stay as the second ranked team in the state. Rounding out the top 5 will feature three Metro area teams.
