New look Los Lunas offense led by one of best QBs in the state

Any thoughtful New Mexico high school football fan already has Sept. 29 circled on their calendar.

Plenty of games are scheduled to be played that night throughout the Land of Enchantment, but none should feature a matchup of two of the Top 10 quarterbacks in the state except one: Artesia at Los Lunas.

Chances are, you’ve heard of Artesia senior quarterback Taylor Null. Big, strong and blessed with a powerful arm, Null seeks to lead the Bulldogs into the Class 5A state championship for a second straight year as Artesia’s full-time starting signal caller, and the fourth consecutive year overall for one of the New Mexico’s most traditional laden programs.

Los Lunas? It’s possible you’ve never heard of him.
