PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Mr. New Mexico for Week 1: Reece Wilkinson, La Cueva
The wide receiver for the Bears opened the season nearly breaking the state record for receiving yards. Wilkinson had 330-yards receiving with 3 touchdowns in a week one win over Cibola, 42-8. He also rushed for another 100-yards in the contest.
