Youthful Eldorado must deal with inexperience, difficult schedule
While the high-powered schools in Rio Rancho and Las Cruces dominate the headlines, Eldorado has quietly gone about its business, reaching the semifinals of the state playoffs three times in the last five years, including the Class 6A championship game in 2015.
However, possessing a youthful roster and confronted by a brutal schedule, the Eagles’ will unquestionably be tested in 2017 in their quest to equal their past success.
The number of senior starters for Eldorado will most likely be significantly less than previous seasons.
