We continue our look at our NMPreps.com preseason preview of the New Mexico High School baseball scene. Earlier today we released our Top-15 team rankings along with a look at some of the top teams in the state.
Pitchers
Trevor Rogers (Carlsbad HS/2017) starts off our look at left-hand pitchers followed by Mitchell Paker (Manzano HS/2017) and Nate Arrington (Carlsbad HS/2018). The three LHP are some of the top prospects to watch.
On the right-hand side of pitchers, we have Tristin Lively (Las Cruces HS/2017), and Bohdi Bolen (Rio Rancho HS/2018).
The state has plenty of pitchers that you will see listed among the best to watch in the state of New Mexico.
Division-1 CommitmentsÂ
The University of New Mexico and New Mexico State University have cleaned up on the talent in New Mexico. Mitchell Parker (Manzano), Garrett Gouldsmith (Rio Rancho) and Drew Maruffo (Santa Teresa) highlight just three of the prospects for UNM.
New Mexico State gained the talents of Cal Villarael (Goddard) and Mitch Buffett (St. Pius) who are both from two of the top teams in 5A baseball.
