Hot-Cold Take. Robertson, winning 7 out of their last 10, keeps their late season push into the playoffs with a win over West Las Vegas. WLV has lost 5 of their last 6. The two teams from Las Vegas have switched rolls.

They'll Meet Again: Gallup and Kirtland Central each won their semifinal game on Wednesday night. The two will meet for the fourth time this season and second time this week. Gallup beat Miyamura, 41-38. Kirtland Central could have ended the season for Famrington, 64-54.

Any Bubbles? Piedra Vista will await the selection show on Sunday after falling to Rio Rancho, 80-71. East Mountain fell to SFIS, 51-35, but could be the final team in the 4A bracket for the first time in program history. Thoreau at (12-15) beat Wingate and still has a chance but they'll have to continue winning.

Top Players

Notes

On-the-Fringe: Grants travels to Belen and a win could secure their playoff ticket. They return tonight after shocking St. Pius X in the opening round of the District 5-5A tournament.

Must-See Bubble Game: Hot Springs at Socorro. The 4A bracket could have a seat filler with Hot Springs. This one will be close as the neighbors battle for the potential for a 16th seat.

District Cinderella: Lordsburg is under .500 but take on Cliff in hopes for a post season push.

Southern Games: Onate at Hobbs and Lovington at Roswell provide the top games to watch for the evening. Hobbs could still be in play for a first-round home game in a musical chairs type of shifting in 6A. Add Portales at Moriarty in a must-see game tonight.

Hot: Rank the Hottest Teams entering March.

Bracket Talk: Debate who is in the state tournament.

Bracket Talk: Eldorado or Las Cruces for the 1-seed in 6A?

Awards: Who is the best player in the state? Who is the top coach?
