July 14th Update: Combine Draft Results
Athletes please report to the North end of the Stadium upon arrival
Parents please only sit on the West Side (Home Side) of the Field of Dreams
NO parents on the field whatsoever - The is a Las Cruces Public Schools Policy
Concession Stand will be available at the North End of the Stadium
Parent Combine T-Shirts will be available for purchase (Bring cash or CC works)
We will feed the athletes after the event at the North side of the Stadium
Athletes Bring: Cleats, work our shorts, gloves, hydration (we will have plenty of water on site)
ZERO tolerance for fighting - Athletes will be asked to leave immediately
Combine results/photos/video interviews/video highlights will be posted on NMPreps.com following the event
4:45PM Coaches Meeting (Meet at the North end of the Field of Dreams parking lot by NMPreps.com Truck)
5PM Athletes Show Up to the Field of Dreams (Staff please to the Field of Dreams at 4:30PM)
5:30PM Athletes start registration (Turn in waver forms, get compression shirt, photos)
5:45PM Athletes (first wave of 20) will walk into Field of Dreams locker room to get photo taken/get combine player card)
6PM Athletes move to Bench Press, then to 5-10-5, then to 40-times, then to broad jump)
Testing will likely last from 6PM to 8PM depending on how fast we move as a staff
8:30PM dynamic warm up with all the athletes
8:45PM Athletes are placed into position groups (quarterbacks with quarterbacks, running backs with running backs, etc. This will be a 25 minute period. Get the kids a ton of reps, be prepared to coach for 25 mins)
9:20PM Athletes begin the skill one-on-one's (QB/RB/WR vs. LB/DB's)
9:50PM Athletes begin the offensive linemen one-on-one's (OL vs. DL)
10:30PM (tentative time on end of event)
10:40PM (talk to athletes, round them up on the 50-yard line
10:50PM (Awards presentation, coaches please evaluate talent)
11:00PM (Close out)
11:15PM (Feed athletes and coaches on North Side of the Field of Dreams)
Each Pre-Registered Athlete Will Receive Combine Compression Shirt
Athletes will be drafted onto 1 of 4 teams
