6-foot-1, 220 pound Forest McKee out of Onate High School was offered by New Mexico State on February 22nd, 2016. One of the top linebackers as a junior this past season, McKee racked up a total of 122 tackles and rushed for 717-yards with 7 touchdowns at the fullback position. McKee recently posted a video online of himself power cleaning 300 and he also has a max bench of 375 pounds.
His testing numbers at the 2015 NMPreps.com Elite Combine last summer were off the charts: 22 reps of 185 pounds, 4.69 40-time, 4.10 pro-agility, 8-10 broad jump, has been molded to be a big time player since he was little, technically sounds on all fronts was our report on McKee.
"Forest is an extremely hard worker as evident by his incredible strength. He is a very good leader and puts the time in to better himself day in and day out. He grew up as a football coach's son and has a great knowledge of the game. He is a legitimate D1 prospect and I commend the staff at New Mexico State in recognizing that fact. We expect great things from Forest this year. I am extremely happy and proud for Forest and his family." Commented Onate Head Football Coach Brent Jaques.
