Message Boards: Who Will Be Next To Coach The Demons?
Holladay's Announcement Via Facebook
After eight seasons as head football coach at Santa Fe High School I have decided to step down as head coach. I would like to thank my head principals Dr. Webb for giving my the opportunity, Robert Stephens, Leslie Romero-Kilmer, Patrick Lenihan, Mary Massey, and Carl Morano. As well as my athletic directors: Skip Hemperley, Elmer Chavez, Kim Loomis, Leslie Romero-Kilmer, Sara Baca, and Will Wade. In our eight seasons we accomplished some very good things like back to back district championships, something that had not been done in about 25 years. We were also fortunate enough to have five players go on and compete at the college level, Joshua Roybal Jared Francisco, Johnny Francisco Loera, Rayes Montano, and Isaiah E. Taylor. I can't thank my wife Jaime Holladay and kids Mario Holladay, Tatum, and Norah enough for allowing me to give the time needed to do what I love. Without their support none of this could have been possible. I also want all of my current and former players to know how important each and every one of you are to me and that no matter where life takes me from here you are always welcome to visit and ask for my guidance and support in anything you may need. I also want to thank my coaches who without their time and effort none of our success would of been possible.
