Few towns in New Mexico offer a better ‘Friday Night Lights’ type high school football environment than Clovis. Maybe Artesia, but the list is short indeed.

Manzano defends its No. 1 ranking in the NMPreps Top 25 poll and looks to take another step towards securing the top overall seed for the Class 6A playoffs when they travel to Clovis Friday for a District 2-6A clash at Leon Williams Field.
