NMPreps.com and Rivals are proud to announce the winner of the 2020 New Mexico Mr. Football award.
The Mr. Football award is given to the most valuable player in the State of New Mexico. Voted on by New Mexicans - fans, top media outlets, and premium members of NMPreps.com.
LUKE WYSONG, 2021, (CLEVELAND HIGH SCHOOL)
Joining three other Storm football members will be Luke Wysong taking home the award of New Mexico Mr. Football. For 15 years now the award has been granted to the most valuable player on their team and Wysong displayed that during games and during the off-season.
During his senior season playing in only three games, Wysong had 15 receptions for 457-yards and 6-touchdowns, 12 rushes for 66-yards, and a touchdown. He would total for 561 all-purpose yards and 7-touchdowns guiding the Storm to a perfect 5-0 record and 6A State Bowl Championship.

Wysong earned 29 points (2 first-place votes out of 3). Runner-Up: Chance Carrillo of Farmington High School with 26 points (1 first-place vote) and third place was Jeston Webskowski of Clovis High School (25 pts)
