The week 9 NMPreps.com/Tate Branch All-New Mexico Awards. Each week we award an overall player of the week along with a North/South Player of the Week.
MR. NEW MEXICO - OVERALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Brandon Baeza, WR, SR (Las Cruces High School) - When Brandon Baeza entered the week as the number nine candidate on the Rivals/NMPreps.com New Mexico Mr. Football list the fan base quickly claimed his name should be higher on the list. Well, after an outstanding week with the Bulldawgs beating a Top-25 team in Centennial -we likely see his name jump on that list. Baeza had 8-catches for 274-yards in the win along with 3-touchdowns as he is the first Bulldawg to win the Overall New Mexico Player of the Week in 2017.
